Students with learning challenges are more likely to experience negative thoughts and maybe even fear, stress or anxiety. It is something that needs to be considered by parents and educators; possible strategies should be considered in any support plan.

Assistive Technology: Tools that make things possible
Assistive Technology is defined by Education Queensland as “… any hardware, software or system of technical components and processes that enhances the capacity for all students to engage more effectively with the curriculum and their learning environment.
This can range from “high tech” technology, such as electronic devices or power wheelchairs, to “low tech” devices such as a pencil grip, supportive seat or a simple switch.’
Do you know the meaning of the word ‘solecism‘?
Definition:
1. a nonstandard or ungrammatical usage, as unflammable and they was.
2. a breach of good manners or etiquette.
3. any error, impropriety, or inconsistency.
In other words … a socially awkward or tactless act; a violation of conventional usage and grammar, as in “I are sixty year old.”
Synonyms: faux pas, gaffe, slip, gaucherie, blooper, blunder, boo-boo, botch, bungle, flub, foul-up, pratfall, bloomer – an embarrassing mistake
